Does anybody know how to fix this, I used to have the same problem a
long time ago and I found the answer on the net but I can't find it
anymore, so somehow my root hard-drive is set as a music folder template.

Could this be the result of a 'subst' command?

Bring up a command window and enter:
subst /?

Not sure what that command stands for, I don't have any virtual drives.
