Ok, I've been fighting this RIS all day. I've never had a problem with this on a 2000 Server. I have RIS and DHCP installed on my Domain Controller. My client is on the same subnet as my server. I'm having this problem at work and in my test lab at home. Everything seems to be configured right, the RIS is authorized with DHCP and everything checks out fine. My firewall on my server is turned off. When I boot my PXE client, it seems to time out trying to get DHCP and then states that the boot filename cannot be retrieved. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

also, I want to mention that if I use a RIS bootdisk with the client, that it'll load the client installation wizard with no problems.
