When I go to "My Documents" or "My Computer" and then
right click on a file or a specific drive, it
automatically turns into an hourglass eternally and I
can't close that window. Please help!

Hi,

Righ Click - HourGlass - Update 817287 and/or 821557

Right Click Crash

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;819101

If this is not the case try these suggestions:

Right click a blank area on the Desktop/Properties/Appearance
/Effects. In the Effects dialog box, click to clear the: "Use the following
Transition effect for menus and tooltips check box, and ok your way out.
And/or: Click the folder or file that you want (select it) before you
right-click it to display the shortcut menu.

Dear Kelly,
Thank you very much for your response, but that is not
the case for me. The CPU usage is not affected, and I've
also turned the Effects under Appearance, Properties, but
the problem was not solved. Do you know of any other
reasons? Thanks again, Meeko.
