Mike

Has anyone seen a problem like this? My father in laws PC
has/had some type of virun, and I"ve been able to clena up
most of it w/ Norton & Spy-Bot. however, in IE now, when I
right click, one of the menu choices, is a porn site link
which I'm quite sure is non-standard :). how do I remove
this?? He's quite disturbed about the whole thing. Thanks,

Mike

Mike,
Go to http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/ for ToolbarCop.
Or (manual removal)
To remove an entry from the IE context menu, run regedit and navigate to
this key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Internet Explorer\ MenuExt]

Your entry will be a subkey of that key. Select the MenuExt key and export
it (just to be safe) Then select the unwanted subkey and delete it.

You might run Ad-aware in addition to Spybot. Sometimes one program will
find something the other didn't.
