Resizing collumns extreemly difficult

I have a difficult time to get the mouse to select the collumn that
separates the folder list from the subject list. I can't seem to pick the
one pixel wide line that separates these two areas. I have 1600 pixels
width, or 3200 if I include my second monitor.
I am very skilled with using the mouse, as I have worked with mouses for a
few decades now, including doing autocad for several years 8 hours a day.
I have noticed that the free "Live" programs have an email component that
looks a lot like Windows Mail, and it seems to handle changing collumn
widths better than this built in version of Mail.
I have also heard that Windows 7 might integrate the "Live" versions into
the OS right out of the box, which sounds like a smart idea.
Also, when I right click "Microsoft Communities", my menu pops up about 3000
pixels to the right of where I clicked, ie on my second monitor instead of
on the monitor where I had clicked.
The "Live" version does not exhibit this behavior.
I am posting this because these are annoying faults with the Windows Vista
Mail program.
I suppose I should redownload and install the "Live" versions of programs.
Also, when I go to spell check I get the error "This language is no longer
available for spell checking". I don't know why? I am using Canada English.

I had to reinstall Vista a couple of days ago because of a mistake I made
that accidently reformated my hard drive (but thats another story). That is
why I am currently at a stock Vista install, plus all updates.

Your complaints about Windows Mail (WM) are common and valid.
Windows Live Mail (WLM) had the benefit of a longer development period
and has received fixes for several bugs that are still plaguing WM.
The latter seems to have been abandoned by Microsoft.
I recommend you switch to WLM.
