Removing Canon S750 print head

Daniel Prince

All the instructions I have seen for unclogging print heads call for
removing the head but none of them say how the head is removed. How
would I go about removing the print head from my Canon S750? Thank
you in advance for all replies.

For some strange reason those of us who are owned by cats
ascribe motives to the cat that are more benign than the
cat's real motives. For example if the cat gets in the
way when we are trying to do something we say it is "helping".

I don't know this model but in most Canons it is easy.
Get the carriage into the cartrdige change position, usually with newer models
at the right side of the carriage is a large lever, just lift it up and the
printhead pops out.
If I remember correctly some of the older models have two steel spring arms,
one each side of the printhead, you just push them down and away from the
printhead and the head pops out.

By the way Daniel, this problem is almost never caused by the ink you choose to
use.
These printheads clog for all sorts of reasons.
Good luck

Remove the ink carts for one. Then there should be a lever you lift to
loosen the head assembly.
