Removing BCM and re-installing BCM

Would someone mind telling me how to remove BCM and reinstall?
Will my contacts remain in outlook?

Hi John,

Make sure you have Office 2007 CD2 before you uninstall BCM, because you
will need it to re-install it.

You can remove BCM from Control Panel > "Add or Remove Programs" if you have
Windows XP, and from Control Panel > "Programs and Features" if you have
Windows Vista.

BCM will be shown as "Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007" (or with
"SP1" if you are patched to service pack 1). Click the "Change / Remove"
button and follow the prompt in the new window to uninstall BCM.

After that, insert Office 2007 CD2 and install Business Contact Manager.

If you cannot re-install BCM, you will not be able to access your BCM data,
so you can export your BCM data before the uninstallation. After you
re-install BCM, BCM will pick up your data automatically. Your Outlook
contact will not be lost either way.

Hope that helps,
John Huang [MSFT]

John: Thank you. I have the cd and I have vista. I have tried to uninstall
BCM, but it does not work. It seems GSH and I are having the same problems.
We both have dell lap tops and we both have the same error messages. Any
other ideas? John

Control Panel | Programs should list what .NET packages are installed.
