Removal tools can't scan!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
When I run removal tools for example "Mydoom" and "NetSky"
that I downloaded them from "Symanten" site they couldn't
scan some drives.In logfiles that they create there is
this message "C:\system volume informationnot scanned)
E:\system volume informationnot scanned)
w32.netsky@mm has not been found on your computer"
But the norton scan said it has netsky and quaranted it.
What can I do?

system volume information is a locked system folder. try
disabling system restore and turning it back on again
this will flush any virii from your system restore files.
also try looking in nortons quarantine folder and empty
it.
