remote scanning with RDP?

Is it possible to scan thru the RDP client?

Scenario: Users in remote offices need to be able to scan items from their
locally attached scanners into their RDP sessions. Similar to printing to
their attached printers thru RDP but the other "direction".

Reply remote scanning with RDP?

Remote Scan software will allow you to scan directly to the server hosted application. It's very good software and works with just about every scanner and scanning program out there. Highly recommended!

You can try Scanner for Remote Desktop from FabulaTech. It allows to redirect scanners into RDP or Citrix session.
