I'd like to be able to remote desktop to a server on a site, then use the
server to remote desktop to other pc's on that lan. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Bobby

Yes.
Do it all the time. I even have situations that temporarily require me to
do it.

Just for fun, several of my colleagues and I tested this, way back in the
days of XP Release Candidate 1 - anyways, we were able to get 17 remote
desktop sessions deep before the network couldn't handle the traffic any
longer! so, yeah it's definitely possible and VERY convenient at times
too...

OK, so it is possible, how do we do it? I can get to the server from home
but I can't get past the server to my PC.

Many Thanks!

Once on the server - open MSTSC (on the server), connect to the internal IP
of the machine you are now tryiog to get to.

Same rules apply - the firewall must have the correct ports opened, Remote
Desktop enabled, accounts with proper permissions and passwords, Windows XP
Professional or a server OS, etc.

If you are connecting to Win2000 server then you must have installed the
Terminal Services Client on the Win2000.

You can download it from Microsoft.
