List:
We are having issues when attempting to connect to remote desktop systems
running XP or 2000 from either 2000 or XP. It seems to happen when we are
using a VPN session. If the host is rebooted the problem goes away for the
first session. Sessions after that exhibit the following behavior: Mouse
moves around the screen but when you go to click on something, the screen
does not update. You cannot see anything you are doing as the refresh
doesn't seem to work.
The only way around it is to move the entire session around and sometimes it
will re-paint the screen. If you get sick of that you can reboot the
machine and then re-connect and you are good until you decide to reconnect.
I'm considering opening up a call with microsoft, but i'm not sure its a
microsoft problem or a Cisco VPN issue.
