Remote Desktop = flexable port with reg key but Remote Assistance doomed to 3389?

I've changed the default listen port for REMOTE DESKTOP with the following
key

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal
Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber

I can successfully use COMPUTERNAME:pORT# to get a session. but why in the
hell when I try to offer assistance
(though the help menu which I think is retarded) it won't work with the
manipulated reg key.... is it true? ... Remote Assistance must use port 3389
unless you monkey with da email crap...... I gotta grip... you(Microsoft)
always assume users know how to use computers.... Yeah email me for
help... opsie email is broke... or maybe they don't know how to use email...
well.. guess what, that means I get to use that clunky
hcp://longa$$_address_that_no_one_can_remember_so_I_have_to_bookmark_it_addr
ess.... Now that my friends is innovation... isn't that the big Microsoft
word.. innovation...lol anyways.. enough gripping... So if I Offer
assistance to a user, is that stupid port unchangeable from 3389?

1 more grip about "remote desktop/assistance" Y'all need to take a looksie @
PCAnywhere they have it perfected with Remote Desktop!... With MS... a
user must be logged in to get assisted... what happens when they need
assistance with da logon box... oh yeah i can use remote desktop, but
wait... the user can't see it... hmm there goes the free training lesson...
oh well... that's innovation for you ;-D~~~~
