relocating Documents & Settings folder

J

Joe

I would like to move the Documents and Settings folder on
my Windows 2000 SP3 Terminal Server from the C:\ drive to
the E:\ drive. What if any changes will need to be made
to the registry?

Check out your group policies. You should be able to
relocate that redirection in no time.

Very dangerous!

See Microsoft Knowledge base article 236621.

Be very careful with permissions on those folders when
moving them. Use NT Backup to back up the entire
directory and then restore it with permissions.
