Outlook reinstall outlook contacts after motherboard failure

I have recently enjoyed a loss of all contacts and diary activity after a very strange motherboard failure and as such I am desperately trying to find the pst files to restore said contacts and calender.

I didn't lose itunes, folders etc etc, so strange that I can't recover any contacts.

I just wanted to know am I wasting my time, or is there a magical quick way I can do this?

I suspect it may be hours and hours of manual labour trying to restore conact by contact so if anyone does know a quick way it would be so appreciated.

I am currently running windows 2003, and stopped using professional.

Did you run a repair on windows? re-install windows, re-install outlook? afte you replaced your mobo?

I re-installed windows and then office....
