I installed a 2nd XP Home on my second hard drive. I have edited Boot.ini
and got back to my original setup and have deleted most of the files on the
2nd drive. But I have a directory call Recyler and nothing I do will delete
the files in it or the directory itself. What am I missing here?

Makes sense to me. But can I delete the directory?

Yes, but Windows will still have the capacity to create a new one.

That is the Recycle bin on an NTFS drive - it has a separate folder for
each user account, to hold the files deleted from that drive by that
user. Clear it out by using the Bin from each user's logon - do not
try to do it manually
