Hello Friends:

I have a table which keeps a track of all the training
sessions for computer based training that a student has
had and then I have an another table in which the
adminstrator for this training program would have the
ability to store exemptions for these students.

So for eg. if a the student is schedlued to take a class
on say Tuesday at 10-12 AM and if that Tuesday is a
holiday the admin would give an exemption for that
student. What I want to do is write recordset code where
it will look at what the exemptions are and accordingly
grant the exemptios to these students. That way the admin
can give exemptions for say 1 day and it will
automatically grant exemptions to all the students who
were scheduled for that day.

Is there an other way to do these?

Roger, please don't multi-post.

CROSS-post!

See google for an explanation of what those are, & why the former is
baaaaad.

And you prevented anyone from replying to my question.

What is the problem...people are getting to learn
something from my questions and I am only posting it to
relevant groups....I know that there are good people
scattered all over many groups. Please be more
responsible.....do not spoil my chances of getting a good
reply on my question.

The problem is that several people will waste time responding to your
messages in different groups, while cross posting would have meant that
they could see you already had an answer. Multiposting is simply selfish,
and if anyone is being irresponsible, it's not TC. And you will get a
better answer by attracting replies-to-the-replies, than stacking up a set
of duplicates.

There are plenty of resources on the Web and elsewhere about how to use the
usenet cooperatively -- try googling for netiquette.

Huh?

DO NOT MULTI-POST!

*CROSS*-POST!

SEE GOOGLE FOR AN EXPLANATION OF WHAT THOSE ARE, AND WHY THE FORMER IS BAD.

That is the point,isn't it that get different viewpoints
in soving the same problem. Access is so vast that for
every problem there can be 3 different approaches.

Is that not what Computer Science all about?

Attcking the same problem in diffrent ways. People like
you do not understand that I guess.

I do understand that: and if you read my reply carefully you'll see that I
address it. If you care to stick around you'll see how the Usenet works
too.

Are you a half-wit or something?

No-one is objecting to your asking a question in several different
newsgroups.

What we are saying, is: when you >do< ask a question in several different
newsgroups,

D O N O T M U L T I - P O S T I T
=============================
=============================

Instead,

* C R O S S * - P O S T I T
=====================
