Our work computers are no longer connecting to the server. In the system tray there is an icon indicating offline file status and if I open it the computer information indicates that the computer is "unavailable for reconnect". There was someone working in this station before me and I don't know what could have been done to cause this, though I am aware that there have been general network connectivity issues where our stations have been unable to connect to a LAN network.
I read in an archived thread something about the security ID of a station will change with a fresh OS install - could something like that have happened here? I don't know anything about Windows Server so I'm going to need very detailed replies, here!
