Well, I got my tech friend in. All he did wa run the IE6 setup file again
from Windows Update directory. If download another file and installed it
and it works fine.

The only difference between him and me, was I was downloading the setup file
every time from microsoft, while he just used the one in the update
directory. I said, Microsoft probably just fixed the problem. He said that
he has come across this problem a bunch of times with his clients and the
above is what he did to fix it. He said that for some strange reason,
windows update forgets to grab some of the files when it updates, and so
running the setup file from WU generally fixes it.

Hope that helps anyone else with this problem.
Thanks everyone for the input.

And I'll be the anti-virus application wasn't running this time, too.

Hi All,

I am getting the following error

An Error Has occurred in the script on this page
Line: 228
Char: 1
Error: Interface not registered
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\Windows\System\SHDOCLC.DLL/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
[Yes] [No]

I tried searching newsgroups, webpages, etc. I tried re
registering a bunch of DLLs, unchecking/check features in IE6. I
finally gave up and reinstalled IE6/OE6.

Now I get:

An Error Has occurred in the script on this page
Line: 1344
Char: 1
Error: Unspecified Error
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\Windows\System\SHDOCLC.DLL/preview.dlg

TIA
Chad
