Publisher is useless if it can't open fles from other versions of.

Make Publisher like Word where it can open past/future versions of docs.
We're copying / pasting into Word or Visio from Publisher constantly for
proofs within our own offices. Plus print shops are commonly rejecting
Publisher files now.

a) This is an Access newsgroup, not a Publisher newsgroup.
