PST file size limit

What is the size limit of a .PST file? I currently have a .PST file that is just over 2GB in size and I cant seem to open it. Is there anyway I can open/recover these emails

You found the limit. You can use a tool to truncate the pst-file;

For Outlook 2003 the limit is set to 20GB
