Programs not responding and freezin in Windows

Im sure this fairly easy to resolve, but ill ask it anyway.
Occassionally when im on internet explorer, the program tends to sto
responding and therefore will freeze. It doesnt happen alot but i a
concerned about it. Ive also had something similar happen with movi
maker. After a while, it sometimes just freezes and so i just end u
stopping and ending the program. Although it hasnt gotten to th
point to where its irritating, i dont want it to get there. How ca
i fix this issue? Is it just normal for this to happen with windows
Should i be concerned? Any tips and suggestions would be greatl
appreciated

Hi jsanabria

You could try some basic trouble shooting, run updated scan to check
for virus/spyware/adware infections. Run a disk cleanup, then
defragment in safe mode.A cluttered drive can be a reason for non
responsive applications. Media applications require data to be supplied
to them in a steady stream.
Also check if your RAM is sufficient to support the programs you run.

Hi Robbin,

Thanks for the tip, but need to resolve another problem.
Just bought a latop from sony. but occasionally it hangs.
cant solve with re-formatting hdd.
send in for sony repair they cant find any fault.
No other s/w installed, only some email messages & pictures.
Irritating at this hang problem.
Any good suggestion to solve this problem??
