prog alternative - remote assistance without logging current

Y

yvonne

Have got 2 very time-consuming parents who are constantly in need of
help with the computer...

what I am looking for now is a program where I can log into their
computer without having them logged off, so they can actually see what
I am doing (and I don’t have to repeat it all over the phone).

Does anyone have a suggestion what prog I can use for that? (or a link
to a side would be also great)
Have been searching for the web for hours but I guess my English just
doesn’t provide me with the right keywords to get any results I can
use.

On this site I found a similiar thread:

http://www.windowsforumz.com/-Remote-Desktop-logging-current-user-ftopict386507.html

but that is for Shadowing w’ Win2003 Server and I have on both
computers WinXP.

Any suggestions would be just great!

Have your parents send you a Remote Assistance invitation - this will open a
Remote Desktop session for you, but they can follow along as you fix the
issue. There's a nice tutorial at this URL:

Thanks for the tip, ... been searching for ages but didn’t try the
obvious thing .... pretty stupid.

Well anyways, tried it, and worked, so thanks again.
