Problems with placing a single picture in email with Windows Picture/Fax Viewer

When I place a picture into my email (either Outlook or
MSN)and I click on it to check that it is the correct
picture, the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer appears with
that picture and all the other pictures in that album or
catalogue! I just want to send one picture, not the
whole group. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to use
the Windows Picture and Fax viewer? Help! This is
driving me crazy.

The only image that will be sent in the e-mail
message will be the one you attached.

The images you are seeing in your Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer are files that you have
not deleted from your Temporary Internet Files
folder.

Clarification:

If you open an image from a new e-mail
message in the Windows Picture and Fax
Viewer...you can scroll through all the pictures
in that folder. It does not mean that all of them
will be attached to the message.

Only the one you attached will be included in
the message.

Try sending the e-mail to yourself and you will
see what your recipient will receive.

Hi John. I did send myself a test email and it did

attach all the pictures in that folder. Any other

"Attach" button.

double left click it or left click the "Attach"

Your selected file should appear in the
"Attach" field of the e-mail message.


Either way...I don't know how you are
managing to attach a folder full of images
without seeing them listed on the e-mail in
the "Attach" field.

downloading a corrupt file. I use Windows XP Home and
use both MSN and Outlook for mail. What is strange is
that the other pictures that show up are not ones from
the same file or time frame. Can't figure it out.

Sorry...without details I have no idea what
your problem is. As I previously said...the
unexplained attached files may be from your
Temporary Internet Files folder.

I don't know what the corrupt file was all about
but you may have a virus. Have you done a
full system scan using the latest definitions?
