Problem with Terminal Services auto login

G

Guest

The problem I am having is that I am unable to use the terminal services auto
login. When trying to terminal service into a machine the user name and
password are reset to blank even though they are entered in the Remote
Desktop Connections dialog under Options.

I am able to auto login on other machines that have the same operating
system. The machine that I am having trouble with is a Windows 2000 machine
with SP4.

Thanks for the help!

Are you saying that if you open the *.rdp (with notepad.exe) before; the
username and password placeholders are populated and after; they're blanked?

Yes the user name and password are both in the rdp file. When I try to use
the rdp file to log in, the user name is set to blank and the password is set
to blank on the log in dialog box of the machine that I am trying to connect
to.
