Hi there,

We have a user that is experiencing problems when trying to print spreadsheets that contain Pivot Tables.

It's Office 2000. As an admin I can print them fine from my machine however if i log into his machine as an admin it doesnt work. So I've kind of ruled out the possibilty that it is a permissions problem.

Have tried repairing and reinstalling Office but this has not resolved the problem. He has tried printing to a different printer and again it crashes.

This is the error message:

EXCEL.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

Thing is, an error log is not created, not in Event Viewer anyway. Can't find anything on the MS site either.

If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

Havent come across this before!
Have you tried printing from excel files in question with automatic calculation turned off? Go to tools - options - calculations - then click on 'manual' instead of automatic (default).
