Hi,

We have lot of win XP home and win XP professional
Pc's. we are sharing the printer through the network. All
the users are have to take the commandline printout (like
word star 6.0,pterm ledger printout, novell ledger
printout,etc..) now the problem is limited account users
are haven't to take the commandline print through the
network printers.whenever we are using netuse command
which it is allowing to take commandline printout only
who are having administrator rights users upto shutdown
the Pc. once restart the Pc we must have to configure
once again printer through net use command for who are
all having administrator rights.next how to set the
permissions to shared printer.
whenever i hold down the CTRL key & right click the
installed printer icon it's not at all giving the
security option.

So
we need solutions for these problem as fast as possible.

Not 100% sure what you need.

Users can't remap LPT1 if it exists on the system. You can use LPT2 or
disable the parallel port in the system BIOS.

Non-Administrators Cannot Remap an LPT Port to a Network Printer

To see the security Tab on the Printer Properties you need to disable Simple
File Sharing (comments deleted)
