PPT and PPS open as a PPS file when dbl clicked

Powerpoint used to open in the edit mode on all files(PPS & PPT) then
for some reason it started opening everything as a show even though
the file is saved as a PPT.

I can open any of them by starting Powerpoint 2003 and selecting open
and the file and it comes up as editing mode. Long way around !!!!

Is there a setting I am missing? I just want PPS to open as a show and
PPT to open in editing mode (again). Or at least all open in editing
mode again when dbl. clicked.

That should help. You may have to do the %1 thing manually.
