PowerPoint to FLASH conversion programs

OK. Somebody has researched FLASH conversion programs for
streaming web cababilities. Can someone give a helpful
hint at which ones have worked best for them.

I have looked at Articulate (too expensive for what you
get), Macromedia Breeze (Also expensive), PresentationPRO
(didn't convert linked sound files properly), and Wanadu
(Promissing, but has poor navigation).

My needs are:
Convert linked WAV files into the FLASH file, Capable of
seeing speaker notes, Scorm 1.2 compliant, able to insert
Scorm 1.2 test/practice questions, Insert FLASH movies
with-in it. And, if at all possible downloads all text on
screen to an XML document that you can change quickly if
you have text change (so you don't have to republish the
entire presentation).

Please help!

I had not tried Producer 2002, so cannot offer a comparison, and it does
take some struggling to get the hang of it. However, with the timeline
concept, which PowerPoint lacks, it is considerably more reliable for
synchronizing. But then I haven't really taxed it and tried it from
multiple connectivity scenarios, etc. However, even in PowerPoint you'll
get improved synchronization if you record your narration in bits and match
a sound bit to a slide.

The only other ones I'm aware of, Jon, are these...

IceSlide

Haven't used it, so I can't tell you how good it is.

DMS Presentation Pro

This was promising when I looked at it some months ago. Haven't checked
it lately, though.

There's also FlashPrinter, which is an interesting concept, anyway.

of the page).

I've used Articulate, and I think it's great. But yes, it's expensive.

Presedia used to be at least doable (cost-wise) for one-shot
presentations, but since Macromedia bought it and turned it into
"Breeze," they've moved it to an "enterprise solution" model -- which
translates into big bucks (as you're aware).

Wanadu's navigation worked okay for me, but I fought with the sound too
much and couldn't even test it to my satisfaction. This was last winter,
so maybe that's improved by now, I don't know.

I myself have bitten the bullet and am starting to work in Flash itself.
Unfortunately, there's just not one program out there which does it all.
