Powerpoint should allow the cursor to change into a laser pointer

When powerpoint is in a "slideshow", because we use remote wands now to go
forward and backward on the slides - alot of those wands are building in
laser points (yes yes.. i know) - but if I am standing at a podium with a PC
infront of me and people are following along (in a classroom setting) and I
move the mouse on the slide, the cursor is "white" with a light gray outline
(by default). It would be nice if it was an intense red DOT or line, even
the ability to temporarily circle in red (or another color from a pallete
window that would hide on the left or right of the screen) so I could circle,
draw, or highlight things as I am presenting. So I dont have to walk from
behind a podium and use the laser pointer to emphasis of a number say in an
excel spreadsheet in a powerpoint slide. Because a table like that is white
with black numbers, the mouse cursor is hard to see, and I need to use a
laser pointer. But my mouse pointer could be very effective if powerpoint
had this additional feature set.

When you run the slide show, right click any where on the slide to bring up
the settings menu. Alter your cursor to your hearts content.
