I've implemented a change to the way the post editing system works - all posts can only be edited/deleted for up to 24 hours and then they are non-editable.
Not only will this reduce the server load, but it will stop confusion in threads when things change after a large period of time
If something needs to be edited after 24 hours, the chances are people won't read the original post and are just looking at new replies - hence a new post will do the trick
If it's something like a broken link that you can no longer edit, just PM me and I'll edit the post manually for you
