Possible to imbed a song in a powerpoint presentation?

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to imbed a song into a slide show? If so, is there a limit
to the file size? I want the song to be within the powerpoint file itself.

If there is a limit - can I imbed more than one song if they're under that
limit?

In PowerPoint, only WAV files are embedded and only WAV files of a certain
size. The exception is that some people have used CDEX to fool PowerPoint
into thinking that an MP3 file is a WAV file. The size is a setting that you
can set. It is in the options listed as "Link sounds with file size greater
than..." If you make that number 50,000, then any future WAV sounds you
insert (it won't affect anything already inserted) that are under about 50MB

You can embed wav files or specially treayed mp3 files up to 50Mb

This is per song not total

As far as I know this limit does not apply to transition sounds

To wav sound larger than 100KB：
PowerPoint-> Tools->Options-> Advanced -> link sounds with file size
greater than ...KB. Please input 50000.
To music in all formats:
Convert your PowerPoint presentation to Flash use some third party
presentation tools, Wondershare PPT2Flash Std[http://www.sameshow.com/
powerpoint-to-flash-std.html#164], for instance. It can help you
create Flash-based presentation with all the original effects
retained. Of course, all the sound files will be embedded in the
presentation. You can send the Flash-based presentation to your
friends and different computers.
