Possible side effects between OS and Access version?

Hi NG,

I have a major problem with a module of my Access database. At home I use
98SE German version with A2000 on a single machine. Our customer uses 98SE
Dutch version with A2002 where database and data are situated on a network
drive (2000 Server). I have a module running shifting extra working hours to
the next week. So the main tasks are calculating the amount of worked hours
per week and the date where extra hours fit best. I have about 1500 records
per week. Now the problem:

On our customer's system about 5 or 6 records each week are "miscalculated".
Most of the time the date is exactly two weeks too early. On my home system
I checked out the module with about 9000 records without any single error.
Is it possible that the difference in configuration (language version of the
OS, different Access versions or network use) causes these side effects?

Any hint, link etc. appreciated

TIA

It looks as though your system date is two days behind, you will get more
help if your post appear at the top of the list rather than 4 pages down.

You're right. Don't know why I accidentially changed the date. But it is
funny that the newsgroups accept my system time. So if you want to stay on
top, just tune the system date!
