I have got XP Pro with SP3 on my laptop and whenever i unplug the power
adaptor running on batteries, my systems report this error

The device 'Intel(R) PRO/1000 PL Network Connection'
(PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_109A&SUBSYS_200117AA&REV_00\4&192ac53f&0&00E0) disappeared
from the system without first being prepared for removal.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Tried the following:
- Upgrade Driver
- Changing Adaptor
- Upgrade all patches/fixes including SP3

It keeps disappearing especially when i do cmd for ipconfig, the result will
show error from this media and unable to display IP addresses.

Not sure with laptops,but a desktop pc,thats called "hot plugging",not a wise
move unless the pc is specifically designed to do that for that piece of
hardware...

Is there a way to stop this "Hot Plugging". Checking with Lenovo or the web,
it doesn't this is a feature suppose to be on Windows. Not even Intel mention
this.
Thanks!
