[PL] ACF Program Information: Program Index <acf/P_ProgramIndex.php>

As a infrequent visitor (currently) to the
<http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/acf/P_ProgramIndex.php>
pages, I wish someone (named Susan :) would add a

"Added or updated (u)"

column...to the page(s)... adding dates in the format

050131
050131 (u)

....for easy sorting/display of latest additions ...

If so - besides adding more work for "someone" again
(sorry Susan!...it sure would be nice if implemented! :->

All the best

I've considered a date column many times. . .

That would complicate data entry (more than you might realize) and I'm
reluctant to do it - ISTM the time I spend working on the program pages
is better spent on other things.

OTOH I can see the benefit to you of having a way to look for the new
entries. The program number is an indication of that. Generally speaking
the newest programs have the highest number (I do reuse numbers when I
find and delete duplicate programs).

I uploaded a .csv file to the FTP directory on. . . lemme see. . .

acf_Programs.csv 13-Dec-2004 11:19 380k

http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/ftp/acf_Programs.csv

Take a look at that file in dbEdit (or whatever). I could add a column
with the program number. Would that be helpful? IIRC that was an easy
file to create - I could probably upload a new one for you today (and
include the program number in future updates to that file).

FYI - there's a Treepad file there too:

acf_Programs.hjt 11-Dec-2004 21:15 774k

I did recollect correctly - it was easy - done and uploaded with the
program number column added:

acf_Programs.csv 31-Jan-2005 10:55 403k

http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/ftp/acf_Programs.csv

dbEdit can sort on any column. . .

KISS works fine with me! :)

Yes, can do sort on numbers-column w/dbEdit (or import in
spreadsheet).

That would be nice, although I am in no hurry......Thanks Susan!

Great, many thanks!

(almost missed the new column, had to refresh my browser cache before
saving the file, forgot at first, thus saved the old copy and didn't
find the column at first :)

:)

YW. :) Feel free to request an update of the .csv file any time - it
only takes a few minutes to create one.
