Pictures in Excel

does anyone know if there is any way to insert a picture
into a cell as the cell's contents? not just as an object
placed "on" the spreadsheet, but in fact the actual
contents of the spreadsheet. so if, for example, you
copied the contents of the cell and pasted, you would be
able to move the picture? or if you referenced a cell with
a picture in it by formula it would show the picture? any
help would be fabulously appreciated!
