photos wont enlarge,web site in e-mails wont open

Can someone please help me if possible, I have win Xp home edition bu
when i get an e-mail in outlook express and it contains a web addres
or an e-mail address and i try to open that page by clicking on it, i
will not open directly , i have to copy the address to internet explore
to get it to open, also if i am on a web site with a picture that say
to click on photo to enlarge, all that happens when i do click on it i
a new window opens but the window stays blank, some people have told m
that Zone Alarm’s firewall can cause problems so i have removed tha
completly but it hasn’t helped,
