Personal.XLSB comes up by default launching Excel 2007

Why does this happen? I used to see an untitled workbook appear in the
title bar when launching 2007, but now that I've added a macro to be
shared across multiple workbooks, I see the Personal.XLSB show up when
I launch Excel. I'd rather have an untitled workbook appear as before.
I tried changing advanced choices in the Excel Options box, but
nothing seems to change the fact that Personal.XLSB keeps launching at
startup. Any help?

Personal.xl* is a file that many people use to keep the macros that they want to
have always available.

Most people have this workbook hidden so that it opens, but is not visible.

Your choice is to delete that personal.xlsb file if you don't have anything in
that workbook (if you created it in error) or to hide the workbook's window.

I'm using xl2003 on this pc, but I think the choice to hide the window is on the
view tab of the ribbon.

After you hide the window, close excel and answer yes to the "want to save
changes" prompt.
