Perfdisk Error 2001

I have been getting the following error on Windows 2000 Server with SP4
installed...

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: PerfDisk
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2001
Date: 11/21/2005
Time: 12:30:00 PM
User: N/A
Computer: ZOOEBI
Description:
Unable to read the disk performance information from the system. Disk
performance counters must be enabled for at least one physical disk or
logical volume in order for these counters to appear. Disk performance
counters can be enabled by using the Hardware Device Manager property pages.
Status code returned is data DWORD 0.

0000: 6f 10 00 00 o...

I have run diskperf -yv and diskperf -yd twice and tried different registry
settings that I have found and still not been able to resolve this issue.
The error occurs every 15 minutes like clockwork.

I have seen that KB article and applied it. Also, I have used the winmgmt
commands and that did not work either. Any other thoughts? The performance
counters are there if I want to monitor them so there must be some registry
setting somewhere that says they are not there.

I am limited in how much I can restart this server. I will be restarting it
within the next couple of days, so I will get to see for sure if it has
worked or not.

I managed to restart the server last night and it appears to have done the
trick...Thanks!
