PCAnywhere v11 corrupts registry during install.

PCAnywhere v11.0 install keeps corrupting my Win2K SP4 registry and the
machine won't boot. It blew up during the install saying it couldn't
find location \symantec\pcanywhere. Reboot says the
\Winnt\system32\config\SYSTEM file is bad and halts. I've tried this 4
times already (thank god for drive images). It did install fine on a
Win98 SE machine.

Anyone have experience trying to install PCAnywhere v11 successfully on
Win2K ???

Thanks.

Check Symantec's website for a patch. I know there was
one for PC9 and W2K. You had to download the patch,
install the application, APPLY THE PATCH BEFORE REBOOT,
and then take the reboot. Otherwise it would crash the
system.
