Pause In Kiosk and then continue to loop after pause

There was a post I read this morning which I can't seem to find again. The
post was related to pausing on a slide while in the kiosk mode. It
referenced a PAUSE.PPT presentation which I downloaded to see how it was
constructed. The PAUSE.PPT included a PAUSE button (located in SLIDE
MASTER) which was linked to a "hidden slide" which had a "continue show"
link to "Last Slide Viewed". But, when I ran the show, it would NOT loop
AFTER pause and then clicking on "continue show" link. I am using PPT2003.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get PPT to beginning looping again (in
kiosk mode) after it has been stopped (paused)?
For more information, see the post below that I sent yesterday.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

In PowerPoint 2003, a kiosk presentation will automatically return to
beginning of presentation after 5 minutes of inactivity (no user
interactivity).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint additional kiosk options (without having to resort to VBA or
add-ins), don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
