Pasting excel as enhanced metafile

I usualy paste tables using from excel in to PP presentations as an enhanced
metafile but recently these pictures are being pasted witha green boundary
for no apparent reason. Any ideas ?

Does format > picture > colours and lines fix it? And is default for new
objects ticked?
