Palm synchronisation with outlook for hotmail emails

Mike

I have a Palm Tungsten E using versamail 2.4, the latest
version of palm desktop connecting with outlook 2000. I
want to download my hotmail inbox into the palm, I have
been told I must do this through outlook. My calender
and address book all download, but I cannot get hotmail
to synch. Palm have told me that the PDA will only
synchronise with the main inbox on outlook and my hotmail
is in a sub folder of this. I cannot get hotmail into
the main folder, does anyone have any ideas or has anyone
been able to download hotmail onto a Palm PDA in the past.

Mike,
I am not uptodate wi current Palms and Desktop but have
made extensive use of older Palms. Usually the
accompanying utility to sync wi OL is PocketMirror by
Chapura...and it will NOT do subfolders. Either learn to
accomplish the same kind of thing using different
CATEGORIES or buy PocketMirrorPRO for reaching to
subfolders. BTWay, they still give great personalized
support by phone at Chapura.

past.

The alternative third-party product is Desktop-To-Go from Dataviz
(www.dataviz.com). I haven't used Chapura's product, but I have used
DTG and it does a fine job. At last check, it didn't do subfolders but
might have been updated since then, worth looking at.

Then again, nothing beats a PocketPC with 2002 or 2003 OS versions to
handle things just right.... ;-)
