Paint Shop Pro

This doesn't have to do with FrontPage, but I was told if I posted, maybe somebody would know what's going on. I have been trying to install the trial version of Paint Shop Pro, but haven't been able to. It keeps coming up saying, "Error 1324. The path Paint Shop Pro 8 contains an invalid character." I have e-mailed the company twice, but what they say to do doesn't work. Here's the message I just got

I don't seem to even have registry editor; it comes up saying that it can't find that file or one of it's components, and also something about required libraries. The other one I got said that it could happen if I didn't have enough space (I have 13.1 GBs) and something else I can't remember (I checked it at the time and it was the way it should be). It seems to be installed because it shows u

When I click on it, a box comes up saying "Windows Installer--Preparing to Install" and then goes right to the error message. Then another box comes up saying "The Windows Installer failed to install the program associated with this file. Please contact your system administrator." Yep, this doesn't have anything to do with Front Page. You
should take this issue to Paint Shop Pro's user group
here: http://www.pspug.org/

Actually the correct entry is regedt32, not regedit32.

Click Start > Run and type regedt32 and then click OK.
The registry editor will open.
Click the plus signs by the keys listed and you will find the entry.

However, regedt32 is not the best or easiest way, log on as the
administrator or power user and then Click Start > Run and type regedit and
click OK.

I have a feeling though that it's just a misplaced shortcut link, not an install problem per se. If she doesnt come back soon we can assume the registry got the best of her :)
