Pages not displaying properly

When ever pages are loaded online or offline they are not
being displayed properly. Some text does not show on the
page as well as it is in the wrong size often causing
letters to overlap. The backrounds to include menus, sub
menus and scroll down menu are always white. When a sub
menu comes up there is no cotrasting color therefore it is
hard to read the text in the sub menu. Also on certain
pages some links do not appear visualy but are there as
you find out when you search with your mouse pointer. I am
using XP pro with the following specs pentuim 4 3.06ghz
and 1024 ddr ram on an Alienwaree 51m. So far I have reset
my defaults. Unistalled and reinstalled the serivce pack.
Cleaned the system for spyware and adware. I've testes the
system with the following alternate browsers and here are
the results. Using Netcaptor I had all the same problems.
Using Opera and Mozilla however pages loaded fine and
where displayed properly. The only other thing I can think
of is to unstall the whole IE and reinstall but how do you
do that in XP when IE is not in the wizard. If you have
any other suggestions I'd apprecaite thanks

Ensure that you have not over-ridden the site settings.
Tools > Internet Options > General
* Check the "Colors..." and "Accessibility..." buttons
If you have "Use Windows colors" selected, ensure that your Windows colors
don't conflict with the webpage layout. Normally, everything will be left
unchecked in Accessibility (unless you are using your own style sheet, in
which case, *it* is suspect).

HTH!
