outlook unable to send message and keep receiving error message

for two days Outlook has been trying to send two (2) messages that are not in
my outbox. I thnk they were for a return receipt. It shows an internal
message. The error message is 0x800ccc65-server responded no receipient 503.
I keep receiving error messages and do not know how to stop the send action.
HELP!!!!
