I have a problem. When I open OUTLOOK on one of my computers I get the
message: The add-in"C:\windows\system32\PWEXCHEXT32.dll" could not be
installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and
Repair on the Help menu. When I do the Detect and Repair option, I get
the
message:
"Please wait while windows configures Microsoft Office Professional
Edition 2003. Then I get the message: "Installation Error: file not
found. A required installation file SKUoll.CAB could not be found.
Original installation source required. If you installed Microsoft
Office Professional Edition 2003 from a CD, Please insert your CD. If
you installed Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 over your
computer network, please browse to the installation source on your
network. Once you have located your installation source, click OK..
After I get to this point (I have no installation source) I hit
"cancel". Then My Office Suite goes haywire and I can't open Excel.
Then I do a "System Restore" and I'm back to square one with the
message: The add-in"C:\windows\system32\PWEXCHEXT32.dll"
could not
be installed or loaded when I open OUTLOOK.
Thanks for your help in advance-RC

You'd be better off posting this question in a newsgroup for Outlook.
This newsgroup is for the XP operating system. You might try:

I run an AMVETs Career Center in Bryan, Ohio. Our equipment comes straight
from Systemax with the "Image" loaded on the hard drive.

I also have Office 2003 Professional installed. While it may be associated
with an Office feature I do not use, I do not have the file PWEXCHEXT32.dll
on my computer. Have you done a search to see if you have the file and
checked its properties for a indication of its purpose?

I am not sure it will work, but try a search for a folder MSOcache. If you
find it, browse to the folder when asked for the Office CD. This folder is
supposed to be a copy of your installation files.

You should contact Systemax for support copy of Office CD. You will likely
need it to install Office updates especially if you do not have the MSOcache
folder.

Then you should contact Systemax. They are responsible for supporting
your OEM copy of Office.
