outlook send receive intermittent working? when check it works f.

Sometimes outlook works just fine to send and receive messages, It always
works to receive, I'm using my office email and a hot mail account secondary.
Its frustrating it goes for days and sends and replys and forwards just
great, then it stops, error say Task 'garymitchellrealtor-sending' reported
error (0x80042103): the operation timed out waiting for a response for the
sending (smtp) server. If you continue to receive this message contact your
server administrator or internet service provider (ISP)
Then another error same task reported error (0x800ccc0b) unknown error
Anybody have any ideas. both the ISP and my office network says its not
from their end?

Do you have any anti-virus or anti-spam software scanning your outgoing
messages? If so, turn off that scan. If you have Norton, that may involve
uninstalling it and then reinstalling without the option.
