Outlook RPC over HTTP, how to force outlook to use ISP's Proxy Ser

Hello

I'm using the Exchange 2003 Server RPC over HTTP service feature. It works
fine when i am away from the LAN and want to connect to the Exchange Server
without dialing a VPN.

I have a special mobile data card which i use in my laptop and want to be
able to connect to the exchange server using RPC over HTTP, but the Mobile
ISP requires that i use their proxy server to access port 80 and 443 traffic.
Now it seems like outlook does not have an option to force it to use a
specific web proxy server to connect to the RPC proxy server with.

Does anyone have a work around or perhaps a fix for this?

BTW: The dialup entry for the mobile data card has been configured in IE and
the proxy server set, so i am able to browse port 80 and 443 on the web in
IE. The ISPs firewall will drop any other traffic, apart from port 80 and 443
which have to be sent to the ISP proxy.

Many Thanks
Jay

RPC over HTTP uses port 80, so it should work and it should use the proxy
settings in IE to connect to the internet and on to the exchange server.
