Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I am running Outllok 2002 in winxp. I currently get the error that my pst
file is maxxed out. It does say 1.8/1.9 gig, after checking. I have
downloaded all available updates/fixes - but nothing happens. I have tries to
compact files, but nothing hapopens. I cannot delete individual messages in
my inbox for example, because the error message says the file is so full it
cant even accept such a command.

any further help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you again.

Empty your Deleted Items folder and delete other items you don't need by
selecting them and holding Shift while pressing delete. After cleaning upi
like this, compact your PST by right-clicking the root of your PST, choosing
Properties, clicking Advanced, and then Compact Now.
