Outlook Hanging on XP

Hi, all - thanks for reading.

I have an XP home machine on a small peer-to-peer network
with a couple other xp home's. I have Office 2002 &
mcafee virus protection. On my machine, I have updated to
the latest OS and Office service packs/updates. I believe
my problems started when I updated my OS a couple weeks
ago, so I updated Office, but no help. My Outlook hangs
several times/day. Other apps open or no, it hangs. When
it hangs, it can also hang other apps as well,
particularly IE. I then get a hangapp message in event
viewer.

Have you ran Help-> Detect and repair alredy? Also reapplying servicepack 2
again might help.
